( and i may swoon from all this swelling )

[ linda park is probably, most likely, without a doubt, the love of wally's life. that's easy enough for him to wrap his head around. the only thing he can't quite seem to manage is the fact that his maybe kind of almost girlfriend once kind of not-that-seriously sort of dated his sister's best friend who is sort of like her brother. which makes him kind of not really almost wally's half-brother. it's weird (and a little confusing), and not at all what he signed up for when he made his way to central city to meet the rest of his family. and, you know, he wasn't exactly expecting his kind of not really almost half-brother to be maybe just a little kind of attractive. that was definitely not in the plan, at all, nor was his vague, golf-sized crush on the one and only barry allen, which, after revelation that barry allen is the flash, wally realized was rooted in his most obvious, volleyball-sized crush on the flash himself. ]
[ which doesn't quite bring him to the reason why he's here, with barry, instead of with linda, who he is definitely, absolutely, one-hundred percent in love with. maybe that's an overstatement. maybe he hasn't quite realized that for himself yet, that linda park completes him and he's definitely going to marry her one day and have beautiful interracial babies with her. it's all in the small stages -- they've only just met, after all, and he's only just been informed that oh yeah, me and linda ... that was a thing once. i mean, a very brief thing, but... and maybe for an instant all of wally's hopes and dreams were crushed by barry's confession that he maybe banged linda once or twice. (not that he actually said, "yo, wally, that chick you like? yep, i definitely went there." he at least had the tact to give it to him a little less bluntly, to wally's relief.) but, then, in almost the same instant, things went from the shakespeare school of histrionics to the brilliant idea that currently involves the two of them in barry's bedroom, half naked. ]
Are you sure this is really a good idea? [ the idea being: barry teaching wally what linda likes and how she likes it, only hands on. and clothes off. which seemed like a really great idea at the time of its inception, only now wally is having second thoughts -- and not entirely because of linda. there's a pang of guilt he feels, despite the fact that he and linda aren't even exactly a thing yet (they've maybe been on a few dates and maybe there's been some making out involved in a few of those dates, but it's not like they're really together together, or even facebook together), if only because he does like barry. he doesn't dream about marrying him, but he'd be lying if he said barry (or, well, the flash) wasn't a longtime fantasy of his and now he's here and half naked and with wally and intending to do a lot of inappropriate things to him on the pretense that it's education. wally can't really complain with an argument like that. ]
I mean -- I don't know, what if Linda asks me, "Holy shit, Wally, where did you learn to do that?" and I accidentally blurt out "Barry taught me!" You know how big my mouth is -- [ which makes him go slightly pale, considering the circumstance and the accidental innuendo he absolutely did not mean to imply. ] Which I definitely did not mean like that, and you know it. [ but, actually, probably that too. barry probably will know by the end of the night. ] Augh! Anyway, are you sure? [ and it's not really a question to barry so much as it is a question to himself, but barry's confidence will give wally confidence. he believes that undoubtedly. ]
